Who we are

The Center for People with Special Needs “Agios Lazaros” is a non-governmental, non-profit, charitable organization that has been operating since 1995, offering services to adults with intellectual disabilities. Today, it offers its services to 83 people, with the ultimate goal of their social and professional rehabilitation. Our effort is to continuously upgrade the services we offer to our People, while the philosophy on which the operation of the Center is based is the development of all the potential of people with special needs and the creation of conditions through which they can have equal opportunities in education, sports and work, with the aim of a better, qualitative, life.

Saint Lazarus Center for People with Special Needs is a non-governmental, non-profit, charitable organization which has been operating for the past 25 years, offering its services to 83 adults with intellectual disabilities from the city and province of Larnaka, Cyprus.
Currently, the Center operated in three axes: Professional Rehabilitation, the Daycare Center, and the House in the Community. All these programs aim at the social integration and professional rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities. Indeed, our Centre's operation is based on a philosophy which promotes the development of our people's full potential, creates an environment of equal opportunities in education, sports and the workplace, and aims at a better quality of life.
