Το Κέντρο για Άτομα με Ειδικές Ανάγκες «Άγιος Λάζαρος” είναι μη κυβερνητική, μη κερδοσκοπική, φιλανθρωπική οργάνωση η οποία λειτουργεί από το 1995 προσφέροντας υπηρεσίες σε ενήλικα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία. Σήμερα, προσφέρει τις υπηρεσίες του σε 83 άτομα, με απώτερο σκοπό την κοινωνική και επαγγελματική τους αποκατάσταση. Προσπάθεια μας είναι η συνεχής αναβάθμιση των υπηρεσιών που προσφέρουμε στα Άτομα μας, ενώ η φιλοσοφία πάνω στην οποία στηρίζεται η λειτουργία του Κέντρου, είναι η ανάπτυξη όλων των δυνατοτήτων των ατόμων με ειδικές ανάγκες και η δημιουργία συνθηκών, μέσα από τις οποίες να μπορούν να έχουν ίσες ευκαιρίες στην εκπαίδευση, στην άθληση και στην εργασία, με σκοπό μια καλύτερη, ποιοτικά, ζωή.

Saint Lazarus Centre for People with Special Needs is a non-governmental, non-profit, charitable organization which has been operating for past 25 years, offering its services to 83 adults with intellectual disabilities from the city and province of Larnaka, Cyprus.

Currently, the Centre operated in three axes: Professional Rehabilitation, the Daycare Centre, and the House in the Community. All these programs aim at the social integration and professional rehabilitation of people of intellectual disabilities. Indeed, our Centre’s operation is based on a philosophy which promotes the development of our people’s full potential, creates an environment of equal opportunities in education, sports and the workplace, and aims at a better quality of life.
